Partners In Pediatrics PC

I really enjoyed the doctors and the care they provided for my newborn but when it came time for us to move and switch offices, the staff was rude and wouldn't transfer any paperwork. Even when it was request by the new doctor.

I feel that the staff at Parker Pediatrics is excellent: they are very knowledgeable and practical when taking care of my two toddlers. I have been taking my children there for about a year and a half, and the staff is very good at going through their well-child-checks in an efficient and caring manner. I also appreciate the manner in which the doctors speak to me: they don't talk down to parents and treat me with respect as well as my children. However, I do have an issue with their waiting room: they do not have separate entrances for the well children and sick children: just signs saying Sick and Well. I feel that they would benefit greatly from simply puting up dividers to make it more obvious for small children in the waiting room: obviously toddlers can't read the signs well enough to tell which side they should be on. But I love taking my children there, and the office also has an interactive website that includes updated e-mails that get sent out to busy parents to remind us of flu-shots and shot schedules that I have found very helpful.

We have gone here for about a year and a half. We have received pretty good care and the phone staff is always very helpful and responsive. However, in my opinion is a lot a room for improvement in the office conditions. Specifically, the last time I was in the dirt on the toys in the waiting room was caked on some of the toys. I did bring this to the attention of the office staff and the lady did pull the toys so it may be taken care of. But it concerns me that I had to call it to their attention. I also don't feel that the carpet is very clean - maybe it's just my perception but the office is old and it seems that cleanliness has been placed on the back burner. When you have a toddler they want to run all over and cleanliness is important. Also, I do not feel that the office staff and set up are great at keeping the sick and well kids seperate from each other. The computer where the appointments are set by the staff and where you are supposed to stand when they schedule is actually on the sick kids side- - not great if your kid is well. So, in general good care but this practice could be great if they just payed attention to some of the little details. I would have probably given this practice a 4 but for the above issues.
